The Sun is Shining Foundation NPC is an independent non-profit company. The company has been established in Parkdene, George on 2 June 2022, one of the outlying residential areas of George. Our hours of operation are from Mondays to Thursdays between 08:30 and 16:30, and on Fridays between 08:30 and 14:00, with eleven (11) volunteers organizing and handling daily activities.
We use funds, donations or equipment received from organizations and independent donors to support our mission to be of value to the Community of George. Our overall goals for establishing this non profit company was to address the social ills and skills deficit that is common in our society.
The Sun is Shining Foundation NPC don’t have any offices or a building and operates for the moment out of a residential home, rent by one of our directors. As soon as funds are available and we find a suitable office space we will move into it.
Our Programs
Soup kitchen:
We created soup kitchen prepare soup and distribute it to the neglected children and homeless individuals in George, Western Cape as way to fight against hunger in communities.
Elderly Stimulation
Taking them out on outings and sightseeing and teach them stimulating games

Director – Strategic Operations
The founding member called on strong community activists to join them. He brought on board Mr. Jay-Jay Maans. Mr. Maans has a wealth of experience from his work in the private sector where he has operated as an independent and successful business practitioner and entrepreneur, He is one of the pillars of his local community and beyond.
Moses Wildemans
Founder/CEO/Director/Admin
Our Journey in service to the the people was started by our founding member Moses Wildemans , He was born and bred in the Southern Cape.
After Matriculating he set off to worked for Department of Social Development and later become self employed. During this time his passion for community Development Programs started dominating his being . Due to this involvement Sun is Shinning Foundation NPC was registered in 2022.

Director/COO
The founding member also called on Piet Jumats and brought him onboard. Mr Piet Jumats also has a wealth of experience from his work in the private sector where he operated as an independent and a successful business practitioner and entrepreneur. He is also one of the pillars of his local community and beyond.

MISSION STATEMENT
The SISF NPC was started with the intention of poverty alleviation and with the objective of providing nourishing meals once a day to members of the community, but especially to abused and neglected children and homeless individuals.

We don’t want to be seen as a quick solution to some of the problems in our community, but as a means to a greater end, that is, serving as an elevating influence
